Insol-WS - Specialized SPE (Single Pair Ethernet) cable for Ethernet-APL segments based on the 10BASE-T1L physical layer provides 10 Mbps data transmission and up to 15W PoDL (Power over Data Lines) power delivery in accordance with the IEEE 802.3cg standard over distances up to 1500 meters.

The characteristic impedance of the Insol-WS cable is 100±5 Ohms, fully compliant with the reference impedance specified by the IEEE 802.3cg standard. The cable provides a direct drop-in replacement for PROFIBUS Type A and Foundation Fieldbus lines: when retrofitting existing facilities, no cable replacement is required—simply upgrade the equipment at the ends of the line.

The cables are designed for fixed installation; operation in water and underground is permitted, provided that mechanical damage to cable components is prevented.

Cable installation is permitted at temperatures down to -20°C, with a minimum bending radius of no less than 15 times the cable diameter.

Cable Length
The Insol-WS cable is supplied in lengths in multiples of 100 m. The minimum order length is 200 m (coil). The maximum continuous length is 1500 m (on a wooden drum, type DIN K12, 1250×650 mm).

Cable Jacket Color
The standard cable jacket color is orange.
Custom jacket colors are available for order volumes of no less than 2,000 meters, subject to a 10% price increase.

Lead Time
The standard lead time is 2 weeks or more.
